Late Teen Profile

Summary

This profile is designed for more open and trusting device use. These now young adults are wanting to manage their own spaces but still require some support to do that in safe ways. In this profile the shift away from technology control requires more discussion and education which will have been building from earlier years. Social media applications that have been blocked previously are now available but harmful applications are blocked.

While an adult (parent/carer etc) is still the owner and administrator for the devices and able to manage them, the young person is able to self-manage their devices and seek help when required. The young person’s own accounts/profiles are added to devices for their access to app profiles as required. Reporting and control is directed to the adult for decision making.
