This service is for those wanting someone else to enhance the privacy and security of their, or their families’ devices. In this service each subscriber has their devices assigned to pre-defined profiles based on age and/or preference. These profiles will define the access and controls the user will have.

Overview

Initial Onboarding	Once you sign-up we will email you some details on how to get started and register with our system. If required we can call to answer any questions.
Email based Support	Email us with questions anytime about what is happening with your device, about emails you are unsure of or applications you would like to install.
Alert reporting	If we notice anything we will email you with the details and recommendations on what to do next.
Monthly Awareness and Status Emails	We will keep you updated with how your devices are going even if nothing has appeared unusual or needing attention.
Family Safety Platform Compliant	– Microsoft Family Safety is used by you/an adult to manage and monitor web access across all devices. – Microsoft Family Safety and Apple Family Safety can be used for Screentime, App limits/blocking over and above what is provided under this subscription. – Android Family Link can be used only if you decide to manage all Screentime, App limits and blocking for the device. Various security controls would not be possible however we can provide guidance on setup and management to get as close as possible.

Enhanced Security beyond Family Safety Apps and School Managed Devices	No more holes or work arounds. Our tools are designed for enterprise use, built for managing the safety and security of large organisations. – No accidental or deliberate bypassing controls. – Safety and security no matter where the device is used (home, school, hotspot). – Stopping Hot spotting, VPNs etc.
Remote Wipe	Protect data in case of device loss or theft. (not on MacOS)
Manage Access to Safe Apps and Device Usage.	– Block risky apps and device usage (e.g. dev mode). – Block risky websites. – Managed stores of Safe apps. – Enforce the use of website and app scanning and checks. – Profiles that restrict to known app lists or single apps for youngsters. (Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education licensing required on Windows)
Specific School Age Privacy and Safety Enhancements	Remove reliance on School’s to properly block access to inappropriate applications and websites. Safely provide your young person with the tools to learn and engage socially. Blocking facebook, instagram, snapchat etc based on age.
Patching and Updates	We will make sure your device is up to date with the latest patches and application versions and reduce the time devices remain at risk by ignoring updates.
Web Threats and Phishing	Monitors and either blocks known phishing site, or notifies the user on potential risks or typing personal information and passwords into web sites.
AI Blocking	We will block AI websites and applications that aren’t complying with ethical and safe use guidelines. (not Adults)

Profiles Available

We have defined the following profile groups that utilise different techniques and controls to manage healthy and safe device use. Starting from most controlled the profiles drop limits and controls to support young people develop their own awareness and autonomy. Where young people sit in these ranges is completely up to you, the “Under 16” is aligned to an age to support the Australian Governments ‘Social Media Delay’ guidelines.

In each of the profiles there may be further options you can select to suit your needs. And you are welcome to choose different profiles for different devices.

Children	On computers and tablets Web browsing is restricted to only a set of known and verified learning sites (guided by the Australian Education System). A managed store is provided where only age-appropriate learning apps are available to be installed on the device. On computers and tablets Young people won’t be able to install applications or plugins however the account holder and administrator of the device can if they choose. Late Teen	Web browsing is opened, monitored and controlled by you and is underpinned with web safety and security filters to block harmful and adult content. Children are at an age where autonomy and developing the self-management skills is essential – with guardrails. Young people can install applications and only harmful / illegal applications and websites are blocked. Certain controls are still in place to prevent young people working around safety and security either by accident or by choice. Adult	All devices No restrictions beyond blocking known malware or malicious/risky applications from being used. Security configurations and safety via monitoring and reporting is the key value in this profile. It focuses on putting controls and safety measures in place for the less commonly known cyber threats (e.g. public WIFI) without limiting device use and features.
